Any thoughts ?, had a quote for £495 (saloon) thought it was a bit steep, don't mind paying about £200 it has good anti-highjacking properties.

I fit security film for 45 quid per window (or does your car have 10 windows)?

There are too many greedy people!

I wouldn't think this would work on the scooby cos of the frameless windows??? The film would hold the glass in place but there's nothing to stop them pulling it outwards from the top IMO

Your right but most thiefs would try to push the glass!
( the ones that smash the glass are normally the thick smash and grab type)

Try Keith @ Securfix 07970193498
They do tinted & security film.
Cost me £220 for tinted security all round & he was willing to travel.

Nib.. there is no way you can do window tinting mobile and do a good job as it is all about keeping the glass and film perfectly dust free!!

Petrol Head

Isn't Birmingham about an hour away from Watford. Surly an hours drive must be worth a job well done.

Is all security film the same then?

Just wondering how some firms charge £750 +VAT and still make a living if you can get the same stuff for £200.

Hey Doctor Clifford.

I didnt realise you did window film as well. Do you have different levels of tint ?. or is the security film just clear ??. If it is tinted would it be possible to do the Alarm / Tracker and tints in a day ??.

p.s the car Has been delayed to 1st April. not March as I was originally instructed.

Does anyone have any pics of the different tints available? I'm also planning a trip down to brum to get a tracker and secure film done. I'm looking for a fairly subtle light charcoal tint. The Doc mentioned brown and said it would look classy - I'm not sure I'm convinced

Any pics and the name of the shade of film used would be very helpful.

Had my RB5 tinted with the Armor Guard stuff at the weekend (And my brothers Frontera)

Half the price anyone else quoted, and a fantastic job. Hats off to the Doc once more. :-)

Edited to say: Oops! If I didn't make it clear - that was done in Birmingham by the Doctor.
