Newbie Hellow
Hi guys,
Eddie's the name, live up in inverness.
been on various scooby forums for a while,
currently own a WR1 #56 and a blob sport which is going to the mrs after she passes her test.
am interested in chatting to someone that knows a bit about the sport, previous owner did a decat back job on it and driving from maidstone (pickup) back up to inverness was pure murder on the ears.
got a quote for the local garage to do it and suddenly im at £1500 quid for an exhaust system so will be looking for the cheaper option.
anyone fancies sharing some info then please do make yourself known.
other than that, glad to be around and hopefully get to meet some guys at any meets/shows that i can attend,

You could probably get a standard exhaust or even a better one second hand on here. Failing that you could join imprezasport.net which is focused on non-turbo imprezas.

thanks mate, i will have a look and see whats knocking about, the guy that had it made a good job and its and sti look alike, scoop/spoiler/body kit, nice example, just the decat makes it too noisy.

I have a Classic GL which has the following set up:
Borla Headers
Stock 2 stage Cat
Cobra Resonated 2.25 Centre Pipe
Magnex Centre Pipe
Having had a few set ups on the car this one is load but not deafening and gives a nice burble, there is some good advice on ImprezaSport.net for non turbo cars. If you want a quiet set up I would suggest you go for a resonated centre pipe and an STI Back box I had the later on my car and it was really quiet, but it all depends on how loud you wanna be 'Loud Pipes Save Lives as we Bikers say......
