I was deeply disheartened to find that despite my entirely incompetent display at the karting I did not get an actual wooden spoon to take home
A big thanks to JohnS for organising the whole thing seemed wise to type this now as it is unlikely I'll be able to move at all come tomorrow morning

LOL Robbie
Another dismal performance from me too
Thanks very much John for organising.
What happened after the karting? - did anyone go into town for grub?
Nice to see you all

Thanks John for once again organising a great night.
Its a pity you forgot to tell everyone else that I was supposed to win, this being my last chance before I go back to Oz
A very enjoyable curry + beer(s) was had by a few of the die hards at the usual curry house. Quite a late night especially for John who had to drive back to Aberdeen, not leaving Edinburgh till after midnight Hope you're not working today John
Anyone else got sore knees ? Mine are killing me from banging against the fuel tank
Andrew.

Bit sore today Rich?
I've got purple bits which once enabled me to walk, but are now a source of amusement for colleagues
Think everyone just headed home after the karting AFAIK.

I got home about 2am.
Not sore yet, but I will be by tomorrow.
Great fun, especially as a warm up event for our outdoor event in April (Saturday afternoon, team endurance event). We will be one of the first groups to use their brand new karts which arrive in April, so all should be equal.
For a change (and a bit of a challenge), we may go for a longer race than 2 hours, and have teams of 6 drivers, rather than lots of teams of 4. This would give more people the chance to take part (especially with it being a Saturday), and hopefully even things out a bit
More details to come soon
John

Thanks for organising such a good event John, first one i attended with scooby group.
Nice that i got a 3rd place overall in the end, new trophy has taken its place next to the 1st place trophy i won last month
Yup tender here too, nice bruise on the back, all worth it though.
Thanks again
Al, SVX
