Dundee to Aberdeen...scenic coastal route
Plenty long sweeping corners with excellent visibility of oncoming traffic
Fish n Chips in Stonehaven is as good a resaon as any to pop up hehe

Just our Wee secret Wullie - The back of Bellsdyke Hospital towards the old Potteries Pub then take a right down to the Pineapple. Early mornings are best.

Having broken down on the way to Penrith 2 weekends ago (reliable VW's!!), I found myself getting AA relayed from Penrith to Dumfries... cos it was the closest garage that could fix my car!

The road from Dumfries back to Carlisle (well, to Gretna anyway) was about the best road I've ever seen - well, for flat out driving it was anyway! Not twisty, but you could see for miles and the road was wide as a dual carriageway but with only 1 lane at either side of the road.

However, I have to agree with the Banchory - Fettercairn road cos it is a great blast in the country!

Tremendous!

Banchory-Fettercain, the Cairn O'Mount road, one of our regular Elise runs, then on to Edzel.

Last Saturday we carried on to Montrose, then the caost road, A90 to Aberdeen. First time I had done it for 20 years, and it was great. Empty, fast, sweeping bends, so sod the A96 from now on.
