Default Knockhill today with Subaru.

Fantastic day had by all at the Subaru/Prodrive corporate day

4x4 driving, never had a go before and thoroughly enjoyed it as did Shaz(scary)
Manouverability in a scoob sport in between cones forwards and backwards, good laugh.
Trip round the track in a STI8,WRX wagon and a WR1

Very sideways on all three but due to very heavy fog they wouldnt give us a shot ourselves

Wagon got a smashed window with soebodys helmet going through it on cornering.

I won the sharp shooting prize with the laser guns and got a scooby bag and trophy.

Shaz won the driver of the day (passenger of the day more like for screamin) and got a trophy and scooby t-shirt (fits me well).

No point in takin pics as too foggy.

Oh and StevoWRX was there too,yes he did find it ok and also got a free diagnostic check and some tweeks while we were at lunch.

Great day with great Hospitality so a big thanks go to John Spicer at S & S Services for the invitation.

Apart from Stevo and Stuart(blown engine sti from EK) any other forum members there?

Pfft....I take it spending £20K on a Subaru isn't enough to get an invite?

Yeah,

Me n'all - I am in for a service on Friday - I would be willing to represent A F Nobles at a day such as includes driving the cars of others!!!

Brian.
Yep they need to step up the sales effort to secure my MY05 STI order. If not I'm going to go to Cheltenham to look at T25's. (hope the wife's not reading this)

No probs Keith,

They need to step up a lot of offers to save customers - I did not even get my 10% SIDC discount off the body service - they now say it is servicing only, not spares, not anything else ie accessories - all of which it states in the SIDC list - "Parts, Labour and accessories" - does not say servicing only!!!

RANT OVER.

Can the SIDC confirm this with a letter ?. If so surely you have a case.
Its only 10% FFS.

Poor show for a premier dealer... but they know we have few options in the Lothians

My missus had an invite to the day on Tuesday (she looks after the company car fleet) but her boss wouldn't let her go. What a to55er. . . . .
