as reward for working hard instead of a cash bonus.
So, apart from picking up the hotel & travel tabs, the company is giving them some spending allowances too. They have Fridy & Saturday night there and upto £100 each for 'entertainment'.
Can any of you recommend a few restaurants/pubs/clubs that they should visit? They basically enjoy drinking and dancing. Staggering distance from a taxi rank would be handy!
- Foamy (sadly not on the same bonus scheme)

espionage is a good club
You want the Honeycomb (fantastic club), Why Not (club), Opal Lounge (trendy bar, MTV aftershow party was held there), Est Est Est (eats), Bar 38 (trendy bar), Po na na (great club, full of young professionals) and anything else along George Street/East End.
Don't go anywhere near the West End/Grassmarket/Cowgate unless you like townies, burberry and sticky carpets!

The pubs and clubs you mention, can you tell me more about age group, types of music, exact location etc?
Cheers
