Default Hot hatch at KH today

Who all went to todays hot hatch day at KH then, noticed a few scoobs inc Hi Soob's and Jimmymc's ( I parked beside ya jimmy clever BMW disguise).
First time I had been to a hot hatch day and prolly the last, these guys are nuggets , makes ya see how SIDC events are very well done indeed.
There was some seriously quick cars out the I gotta say, will post some pics if I get bored laters.
Oh BTW was it you that was doing rather poor attempts at douhnuts in the STi8 in the car park at the hairpin

Oh dear - does not sound too hot!!! I can imagine.

You'll not be taking your car to a hot hatch day then?!

I was meant to go up with my mate is his rover V8 kitcar, its weighs nothing as its built from tubular steel & the engine si in the back
we took it for its 1st test run yesterday & flames kept shooting out the carb (scary stuff)
so its back to the drawing board & trying to sort out the fueling issues & when thats all done 100bhp of nos is being added, it'll be scary but only for use at hot hatch days

The scoobs for top marques & such like (when i get the bottle to take it on)

Nuggets is too nice a description for some of them 'people'

HH days are like Max Power Crail events...to avoid and not waste money and effort on.
Although there is usually some nice machinery kicking around.

Went to watch last year with a mate and was put off, half the clowns couldnt drive a six inch nail into a pan loaf, I wonder what the decent car owners and drivers say on their car club threads, having said that, everyone needs to start somewhere, but I dont think a day like that is the place to play at Mario Andretti in a Nova

Allright Spooks.
Hows it going.
Saw prety much nothing but **** Scoobies today at KH. Too mant ******** seem to have the cash these days to buy these cars!! Gives us sensible(??) folks a bad name.
Makes me feel sick when I see someone abusing a brand new car like that guy with the STI8 today. He must have it booked into a spray shop for Monday morning cause it will be well fooked after his lame *** efforts at being a rally driver. He should just get a more powerfull Scooby that can do those tricks on dry tarmac( STI 5 RA with the power set to the rear does it no problem, just eats the gear box though).

As usuall Charlie Shaw was on good form at the hairpin and generaly every other corner of the track, side ways with limbs out the window and the lights flashing. This guy is the only good thing about a Hot Hatch.
if it wasn't for season passes letting us in then I think Tescos would be more fun on a Sunday afternoon.

Ment to say there were also some nice Scoobies today, Series Mcrae with a 555 plate and a UK 300 with a 300 plate I think.

STI 04...... I was a little worried that the guy with the STI8 was you as I have not met you in person.....Sorry that I could have thought that of you.

Whens the next SIDC track day?????

HI SOOB

I was doing the autotest in the car park and no-one came to see me I had my Pug 205 oout for a shakedown and it performed fine. I have a blister on my handbrake hand now.
had a problem with people trying to drive through the test to get to somewhere else. Some neep in a Skyline was determined and i was looking forward to seeing it spinning round the pylons and reversing.
The Hot hatches are way to rough for me. There hardly semed to be any track time at all because there was so many interruptions.

Hey Hi Soob, do ya know the origins of your front grill ie where to buy one, looks pretty cool...wouldnt say no to one myself.
I can only assume that Charlie Shaw is the loony in the blue Escort Cosworth, yeh he knew what he was doing...any idea as to what power he was putting out ...kinda looked like it was men against boys when he was on track.

Spooks, Sorry but the car came new from Japan with the grill on it , and it had the STI lamps on it. Might have been a cancled order for a Japaese customer or something??

Steven
Only joking Matey....I know what your like with your cars. This Donkey was just needing a wet slap to calm him down!!

Black! Oh no, I have a spray gun and I am itching to use it. Something outrageous is definately in order.
