Default Exhuast lagging

Where can I buy lagging for a down pipe?
Also how much would I need for an average downpipe for my rex.

Got mine from Demon Tweeks. Was around £40 and I got the 2" wide stuff. Came in a roll and it was enough to do the downpipe from top to well under the car.

I got loads in the garage, 5m is enough to do a downpipe

£15 plus postage to you! (£18 in total) for 5m.

Let me know if you need any.

It insulates the heat keeping it inside the exhaust and reduces under bonnet temps which means more power

Dougs great news Gimmie a bell anytime neebs
And Andy YHPM , another benifit of lagging is its supposed to help spooling of the turbo by keeping the hotter gasses flowing better...... whether its true or not I dunno

Correct, as hot air travel faster than cooler air.

TBH. guys .I don't see the great benefit in lagging D/Ps.(Laggin' ain't cheap)
U/Ps OK.
Once gases have done the business through the Turbo. It's just exhaust.(Bore size would be more relevant).

P'raps a partial.Just to keep them burny bits. out of fingy reach.

Steve.

P.S. No doubt, someone who wants to extract every minutae of power may disagree
