Default Slicks in Scotland

Can anyone recommend anywhere to pick up some road legal slicks in Central Scotland please?
2nd hand preferably.

Looking for something like a pair of 195/50/15's if anyone has any kicking about.........

HHHHMMMM isnt that a contradiction in terms "road legal slicks" Closest youd get is the Michelin cup tyres as fitted to a BMW M3 CSL

Avon ZZ3 or ZZR are what you need.

Avon CR500 also road legal but pretty extreme.

Try www.blackcircles.com

Had a look on the site but don't see any. You may have to give them a call.

As long as the tyres have treads of 1.6mm over 2/3rds of width they are road legal. I ran cut rally slicks on the road between stages on the Jim Clark.
The best site for viewing tarmac rally tyres is EARS .co.uk

Give Ronnie from Wheels Around a call (01764 662897). They can supply new, and sometimes part worn slicks/read-legal slicks etc. They are based in Auchterarder, and will be at KH tomorrow for the SIDC track event, so you could get them fitted there if they have them in stock.

Have you thought of using the Maxsports - they are very cost effective, very grippy, and available in a range of compounds. Yes they are remoulds, but high quality.
