Mindless Vandals in Aberdeen
#1
Gutted tonight, not only did Aberdeen get gubbed 3-2 by livingston, but when i went back to my car which was parked on the beach front, got a nasty surprise, my Scoop had been ripped off my Impreza Sti V5. Scratched bonnet and a gaping hole.
If I found out which down-and-out mink did this, i would inflict the same damage to their empty numb-nut head.
So, as you can guess I am looking for a second hand scoop for an STi 5 (2000 model) locally, my car is cool grey but any colour will do, i will have it sprayed.
Kevin.

Miles,
I am advised that if the scoop you have is post (after) 1997 then it is the same as the STi scoop.
If you have a contact number I will give you a call.
Cheers,
Kevin.
PS. It was me that sold you those "Cheap" STI V5 springs in Peterhead this year !!

Ian,
Surprisingly enough, never noticed the damage on Saturday - only last night when I was out in the garage - must have been all the rain hiding it
Bumper marked / scuffed (poss. sitting squint slightly) and that metal bit is f**ked
Nothing overly bad I suppose but pi**es me off anyway !

Sorry to hear that
As we were saying last night, there's been quite a lot around here being nicked. I've seen 2 in Old Aberdeen gone missing...no doubt nailed to some piece of **** by now.
Problem is, can't do much about it Wire the battery up to your bonet scoop? Contain a shot of CS gas inside the vents?
Anyone see that Sportka advert - where the pigeon lands on the bonnet & gets belted. That's what you need.
That said, I don't have that problem, as I've got no scoop, nor am I going to get one, unless I buy a turbo.

Nightnare Daz,
I feel for you mate, what is it with scoobs, they attract all sorts of bother !
Some people have absolutely no thought whatsoever of the consequences of what they are doing when they destroy other peoples property and leave the mess behind them.
Hope you get sorted out soon.
Kev.

That pisses me off. Trouble is there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. If you could inflict some harm on them, they would take it out on your motor. I'm gonna have to re-tango my car soon as the other half wants her garage back. Just have to hope the scoop doesn't go instead.

My car has been similarly vandalised in Aberdeen.
So far I've had both sides, the boot and the roof keyed. The scoop half torn off which bent hell out the top of the bonnet. A rock or similar heavy object thrown at the bottom of the bonnet to give me a a match with the top. Nails in the tyres. And last week someone reversed into the car bent the bumper mountings cracked the paint and buggered off without leaving their details.
I've given up fixing anything until I move out of Aberdeen as it will just get done again, so the poor car will have to keep looking sorry for itself until then.
If I didn't enjoy driving it so much I'd bloody sell it as it seems to be a magnet for idiots from miles around.
Anyway, I suppose we should be thankful they haven't been nicked yet !
