Accident on A944 (Aberdeen)
#1
Was driving out of Aberdeen late last night and came across accident scene at the 'Lang Stracht' roundabout on the A944. There was a mini with it side nastily smashed in and another car. In the Evening Express today there was an article on an accident at the same location but with a pic of a red golf on it's roof. I didn't see this car when I passed. Two seperate accidents? The reason I mention it as I was driving into Aberdeen earlier in the evening and spun out on the same roundabout. Although it was wet I wasn't going fast by any means and was surprised to get a 180 degree panorama of the area. I ended up facing the wrong on the dual carraige way - scary. No damage done however. Given the number of incidents there yesterday I was wondering if there was oil/ diesel on the road? Anyone else have any similar experiences?

nah, that's just a crap roundabout - the camber is all wrong and it's a common thing to see someone having a hairy moment there... I can't wait to get a scoob with power to the rear wheels to have some fun there when it is quiet....

Yeah but I've negotiated that roundabout 100s of times and at much greater speeds and in worse conditions. And usually when you feel a GTR going it's easy to get it back again or control the slide. This time though it just spun out and there was nothing I could do about it. Something was up....
