Exclamation

Got my STi in March last year. It comes with Trackstar as standard and a year's free sub.

It occurred to me that I hadn't renewed so I called them.

... wait for it ...

It was never registered by the dealer prior to delivery (as they should do).

I've had the car with no tracker for a year. If it had been TWOC'd - no insurance.

Sorted now but not happy.

I suggest those of you with STi7's & 8's check this out now.

I checked mine when I bought the car. Everything was in order, but I had to pay for it to be transferred to my name.

Numptie, you may want to mention this in General, as this may have happened to other owners from other areas in the UK....

Just a thought.

Thumbs up

Done.

You're quite right Miles. My immediate thoughts were locals who might be in the same boat. I'm sure you'll see my reasoning (not wanting to say any more until I'm 100% sure of my facts).

Thanks for the nudge.

CTR

I recall it was about £125 to transfer, plus I pay £120/year for the service.
