I have been running my STI 5 Type R now for over a year {Full De-cat K&n filter 18,000 miles. In that year). Seems ok. Is there anything you could recommend,I should do for peace of mind As I want to keep this car for ever. I run it on Optimax but no booster. Knock seems OK. with Deltadash . However torque seems low. Please advise.

Delta Dash is a guide to knock but not the whole story. I think you should add a knocklink, and also run octane booster (I like NF and have found it works well although haven't tried the others so can't comment).

If you want to run more torque you will be wanting more boost, this will likely mean retarding the ignition a bit, but overall there are gains to be had on a decat STi without compromising safety.

YHM. They don't do Tek 2 for STi 5.
