JOOLS I've just changed my jap-spec Iamex system for a Scoobysports. The Iamex is a complete staight tube from the downpipe with 2 resonators, resonator backbox with around 5" tailpipe.

sg72,

I have gone out with my mate BKS tonight and bought a Magnex with oval tail pipe and straight through mid section, but the 5" pipe you have sounds great.

Please e-mail me with more info. Do you have any pictures you can e-mail me? I’m sure we can always sell the Magnex on...

Well JOOLS. You see. When I got the S/sport fitted at Falkland Performance in Glenrothes. The IAMEX was too long to fit in ME CAR. Fixed bulkhead, you see. Sooooooo, basically they've still got it.Its in brushed (Not polished) stainless with a bash on the bottom of the rear resonator (Don't ask) and I'll want £90 for it. Still interested? give them a call. tell Kevin Steve G STI V type R with rollcage sent you.

Thumbs up

Steve,

I'm sure we will take it. Will speak to my mate, Young KP, and we'll take it from there. Need to get it sent up from Falkland, but I know Kevin and Alan well, so I'm sure they'll help us out.

Thanks,
Jools

No worries Ken, You are very much in my thoughts. BKS and I have just found that the straight through pipe we got last night has been cut and welded to fit the smaller down pipe on a sport, but that can be put right. I'm away to DK right now, but BKS and KP will chase the pipe at Falkland I'm sure, which is stright through from the DP back. This will mean we have parts to play with.

I was hearing that he got the car and that you had sorted him out with the exhaust; now we just need to get him sorted out with something louder!!!But at least it will sound like a flat 4. Any joy with the system at Falkland?. I also got a mail today from Grant at AWD in Perth. Advise YKP to call him on 01738 633336 and see what he has in big second hand tail pipes.

BKS,
Skimmed discs on a 270/280 BHP Sti that doesn't get it at all. That's the kind of rubbish you used to do on XR3's and the like, not a high performance car...

Am I missing something here I guess the discs were skimmed to get it through the MOT What's his name; fecking John Wayne or is Billy Smart in town

Will call u l8er

Cool

Hi guys!

Yes he has certainly rode off in the sunset! Fecking all the way to Sunnyhill, the brakes are totally shocking, had them smoking again last night. But apart from that the car is good, and sounds the part now thanks to Jools and Brian and of course the legend that is "Homeboy"
I sent an email about the Falkland exhaust but no reply, will call Grant at AWD later today too.
