Some little kunt has keyed my car, the bonnet the door, twice and the panel behind the door, anyone used chipsaway or similarin aberdeen or is it a respray job

lol hi my aberdeen mate im working buddu but i might go to kh tomorrow but the prob is celtic's playing rangers so might just stay home

In response to your original question FOZ,
Are the scratches very deep? Can you get your fingernail in them?
If you cant then try some "Comp". Its more abraisive than TCut and can do wonders on scratches. You will need to wax the pannel after words though to seal the paint again. If the scratches dont go away with that stuff it will certainly make it look a bit better untill you get it re-painted.

Its a total "mare" when you get you car marked. I blew a head gasket when my M3 got "done" (twice!) a few years ago. GRRRRRR

If it's not through to the metal/undercoat, then you can do a fairly good job of covering it up using a variety of cutting compounds/polishes etc. I helped out my neighbour across the stret, who had car bumper badly scratch his door panel. It's hardly noticeable now, though you can see it from less than 2 feet, as there are big chunks of lacquer missing and some very deep scratches. He's happy though, and hasn't any plans for a respray, unless it happens again or decides to sell the car.

i have some medium rubbing compound stuff so will give it a go at the weekend, the car is gettign a rest for the week after the thrapping it got on sunday

happened to my FTO needed full respray if its silver there is no chance if its a dark color you might be lucky
sold it in the end
i am fitting a 22b spoiler and front splitter over the next few months and i hope it dont atract the key of some little NED
