Question

Hi

Has anyone had this done? I have managed to get my hands on some pre glaze and glaze? Is it easy to do ? Or is it best left to the Pro's
Or are there any horror stories out there?

Tell me about it as i am thinking about getting my car done

Craig

Craig,

I know a guy that can do this for you for a small cost if you want. He did my last car with Diamond Brite and is a valeter for a prestige dealer. If you are interested reply here and I'll get in touch with him for a price etc.

Cheers,

Duncan..

Question

Abzdon

I still don't know about this stuff?
What were your experiances of it?
Was it good stuff will your contact be able to supply the gear it has to be washed with etc.
Is it as good as it says?
Why have you not had it done again?
Sorry for all the questions but i know nothing much about it.

Thanks

Craig

Craig,

Still trying to get in touch with him, hopefully tonight.

Russell,

Don't think it was same guy, do you know who he worked for?

My last car was DiamondBrited -

Bear in mind that this car had not been polished for 18-24 months since the treatment (only washed)

Craig,
Spoke to our friend in the know to find out that the stuff you have is the older "Lacro" Diamond Brite (Water based?) and not the proper "Jewel" Diamond Brite.

The stuff you have is nearly as good as Supaguard (but not quite) so don't expect miracles
Put on pre-glaze and leave for 1 1/2 hours - then apply glaze directly on top and leave for another 1 1/2 hours then buff the lot off the car.

Make sure that you go under all the edges on car (Bonnet, Bootlid, etc) to ensure full protection.

Hope this helps!

Craig,

Sorry for the delay, mate away on his silver wedding anniversary (a surprise from his wife) so couldn't contact him.

Anyhow, his son the valeter will do the diamond bright stuff for you for £30. If you are still interested I will send you his phone no. Only thing he mentions is he needs a covered area to do it, though outside today would have been ok!

Just for your info though, I got around to applying the Wax Wizard stuff last weekend - quality stuff. Washed it this weekend and the soap suds kept running straight off the car!

Cheers,

Duncan..

Duncan - thought you car was looking rather clean this weekend Unlike mine of course, which was furry with dead insects

I'm assuming that it was yourself on the road beside Old Rayne on the way into Aberdeen Sorry I couldn't stop/slow down, as the kids were getting narky and wanted home!

Yes, that was me, going at Granny speed. Trying to diagnose a problem with the car so I can maybe get it sorted for another run around Knockhill.

Thought it was you but couldn't see your number plate for the rear spoiler on mine. Only knew it was you when you went past. Too late to wave then.... sorry.
