is the jdm hawkeye high tax band ?
as title just wondered being a 2.0l as appose to 2.5l ?

only from 2006 onwards, if you are lucky like mer to get 55 plate its in the lower tax band...

thanks mate so past 06 is higher tax band i.e 400 and something a year ?

I thought JDM were lower tax bracket regardless of age. Pretty sure I read that about Evo's anyway.

That is not strictly true.... I know of JDM STI's newer than that and still on PLG.

Don't get me wrong.... I think you're right from a policy perspective, but some later ones do tend to get accepted on PLG.

Mines an 06 on the lower band 2.5 STI Type UK though. Not sure about the JDM. I'd say find one on auto trader and the likes, then pop the reg number into the DVLA vehicle enquiry search on the taxing sites and it will show you costs.

I think all gray imports are classed as PLG as the DVLA won't have the co2 reading for them.

Well I just emailed a chap on eBay with a 06 jdm hawkeye and he said it's the expensive tax I'm confused

The hawk jdm's can all vary in price I got a 06 jdm hawk and its 220 a year I'm pretty sure there's a few others that are even less, sure one feller had his for about 120 for the year.

My. 2007 Spec C is the full fat road fund licence circa £495 :'( Though it was registered correctly by Iain Litchfield.

It simply dependeds what is listed, regarding the C02 level, on the V5

I've just got the renewal for mine £269.50 for 6 months.
Can't be right that if you drive a POS like this, you get free road tax!
