I thought JDM were lower tax bracket regardless of age. Pretty sure I read that about Evo's anyway.

That is not strictly true.... I know of JDM STI's newer than that and still on PLG.
Don't get me wrong.... I think you're right from a policy perspective, but some later ones do tend to get accepted on PLG.
Abit confusing then lol
Mines an 06 on the lower band 2.5 STI Type UK though. Not sure about the JDM. I'd say find one on auto trader and the likes, then pop the reg number into the DVLA vehicle enquiry search on the taxing sites and it will show you costs.
I think all gray imports are classed as PLG as the DVLA won't have the co2 reading for them.
Well I just emailed a chap on eBay with a 06 jdm hawkeye and he said it's the expensive tax I'm confused
The hawk jdm's can all vary in price I got a 06 jdm hawk and its 220 a year I'm pretty sure there's a few others that are even less, sure one feller had his for about 120 for the year.
mines £140 per year
might sorn it ;) |
My. 2007 Spec C is the full fat road fund licence circa £495 :'( Though it was registered correctly by Iain Litchfield.
It simply dependeds what is listed, regarding the C02 level, on the V5
Not much else tbh |
Just paid £490 to tax my Spec D. Like the government don't take enough taxes already!!!!
