Default nice morning

well iv had a good morning and thought is share it with you

well it started by me wanting to put a bet on the horses
so opened a William hills account

added £10 , but I'm crap with horses and I wanted a double , don't know how that works so thought **** it

so I spent the tenner on the slots £2 ago
and I won £1800.46, don't know how but got one win of £245
then thought I'd up it to a fiver a spin for the £45 and draw £200 out,
on the last £5 spin I got a win of £1600
what a result

came off and withdrawn it straight in to my bank

was sat there in shock, gf came up and said what you smirking at , thinking I wanted a bit lol
told her and what do you know
we need to book a holiday now lol

but that's fine I said knowing it's only cost me £10 and I'm sure I can keep a little bit for the car

get in ;-)

Good on you for knowing when to quit. It's all to easy to keep going thinking you'll win more. Steer clear of the lotto, much better odds in the bookies.

So true. An ex-GF was a gambler (cultural) and could be multiple £100s up in a very short time. Problem is the more chips she won, the more she would raise the stakes. Always lost of course because she wouldn't/couldn't stop until her purse was empty.

Nice ! I got a letter from Sussex police last week, thinking here we go, opened it and it said they were cancelling my speeding nip as the limit was incorrectly signed at roadworks. Not the same as money, granted, but quite good all the same.
