Default Samco turbo inlet hose keeps coming off!

Had a Samco turbo inlet hose to my 08sti as the original had split, now the new hose keeps coming off!

Had it stripped down yesterday againand found the inlet hose internal diameter to be be 60mm while the turbo inlet outside diameter is only 56mm..... So a little bit sloppy

Checked the part number with what I've been supplied this appears to fine, so maybe the wrong part in the bag?

I suppose the question are the hoses supposed to a sloppy or tight fit onto the turbo? As the garage just can't get it to seal despite how tight they clamp it up.....

Any ideas?

Hairspray

Plus a proper worm drive clamp or mikalor clamp similar should work o.k at standard boost levels.

The clamps I have installed are the samco ones, shouldn't the hose be a tight fit onto the turbo?

What's the hairspray do?

The Samco part has a moulded part number which matches the fitment guide for my car (2758)...

expensive part to bin at nearly £300 !!!! - so not an option really.

I would have thought 4mm is a lot to loose on a hose as when you tighten it going to bunch up and not seal

Sell it on ebay and buy a Scooyworx one on the group buy, it will fit perfect . But I do suggest Makalor clamps, it was the only thing that stopped my S3 inlet hose from coming off

Shouldn't have been stretched as it's brand new!

It will be going back for refund.
