Default Track day tyres? Part worn?

Anyone know of a place to get some part worn track day tyres, on a very tight budget unfortunately!

Keep an eye on the classifieds both here and on 22b. I got some 17" OEM wheels with part worn r888s for £200 delivered, full set!

I have 2 sets of trackday tyres that would be good for 2 more trackdays, maybe 3 more
They are just above the wear mark
AD08s 225/45/17 and 235/45/17
£30 per set
Collect only

I don't mean to sound like an old dart here, but if you are struggling to afford track day tyres, why are you doing a track day? Surely you are taking a hell of risk if something breaks?

I think sometimes guys just don't want to wear out there good road tyres,
And worn out 888 or worn out ad08 are better than most std road tyres,

I have done so many track days which end in disaster so I fully agree with this statement if you cannot afford to bin it don't take it on the track

In response to this question 'dad' Bez has it right, I want to use a set of tyres that are not gonna be my normal use tyres in case they get torn to shreds. Ta.
