You need an unequal exhaust manifold if your searching for the famous impreza noise.
Ebay is your best bet....

Best all round exhaust? Surely it has an exhaust already??
Best advise if you are considering modding a non-turbo Impreza - STOP!
It just isn't worth the time or money.
Sorry, but that's the truth.

hate it when people say things like stop modding, maybe we should remember its his pride and joy and maybe thats all he can afford or doesnt want the stress of a turbo going bang so ease up eh

I used to have a 150bhp RS2000 4x4, everyone thought it was pointless, especially in modding it.
I had it bored out to a 2.1, fitted a K&N induction, cat back magnex, FSE PBV and superchip. Clocked 165bhp and it'd dare I say it - keep up with UK Scoobs back in the day. Cams and decat could have seen power pushing 180 with zero lag! It died at 150mph before I could find out.
Sometimes styling and sound can be just as desirable these days with all the speed bumps, cameras and traffic.

Hard for it to burble because it has an equal length manifold, only the UK turbocharged cars had the unequal length manifolds (JDM's from 2003 onwards had equal) which is why you get the burble
