10k on a scoob. What would you do?
Right guys I know I'm putting a lot of threads at the minute and this is what it comes down too.
I have 10k from selling my 330d m sport. I've had a very modified wrx blob previously and from there I've gone on to have evos, focus rs, bmw, etc etc
I've come back to wanting a scoob and was originally looking at hatches but couldn't find one I was happy with so decided I'm going to put 10k for a scoob.
I'm split between a hawk and a blob. I've also got the option of buying one and putting a bit of money into a few mods as long as it's all covered under the 10k.
So I'm after some opinions and examples please.

Lucko on here is selling his widetrack black blobeye STi with 37k miles on the clock, as he has just bought a JDM hawkeye. Think you would have enough left over for mods after buying the car!!!
And he is only in Cannock too!!! So not to far!! Worth a Pm if its what your looking for!!

I'd try to find a higher mileage Blob Type 20 or a Blob JDM STi for that money.
I'm sure someone will be along shortly to remind you of the potential problems with the Hawk's standard 2.5 engine.

If it was me. I would build a spec to meet my needs, myself i like the classics and would buy a nice type r, have a sti8 engine, gearbox and drivechain fitted. Swap the front seats and have a big brake kit. Frozen white with black alloys.

I'm not a massive fan of the classics purely because of the work it takes. I did all that once and swapped engine, drivetrain, turbo etc and I wouldn't really want to do it again. I am attracted to a blob and stick a few its on it but depends on the base.
