There are a few good mappers, just depends how far you want to travel?
Engine mapper is probably your closest and best option, if you want to travel the slightly overlooked but very good Steve Simpson up at TEG motorsport in Lancashire also gets my vote

tony your throwing a lot of digs about andy carr why ?

I have had mine mapped by andy from standard up to 450/400 over the past 4 years with no issues and lots of good advise and workmanship and I know plenty more people that use andy with the same feeling

I think if you have something to say about him say it or stop the snide remarks

+ 1

Andrew took my car from standard to 450/400 give or take a few - and he's just done my new car - always gives advice, always helps, granted he might not always answer the phone but he always gets back to you.

Also if you thing The mapper at teg was that good why would teg who have a fantastic name change to Andrew Carr ? Trouble with lots of people is they want a map, they want it now, they want it done in minuets and they want millions of bhp with no supporting mods. Andrew is a great mapper

Agreed. I've had no issues with Andrew over the years. Like I asked in the other thread Tony, what evidence is there to substantiate these claims?

I'm not making snide remarks, I want a decent mapper and I don't count Andy as one of those, especially after the issues with one of the LADS members and the "racerom", plus some of the work isn't the best, its average, the poor guy just who just had his car mapped to "335/335", that's not good for a new age sti with full decat and induction, you should be seeing 15+bhp and torque more than that.

Like I said, I want a decent mapper doing my cars.

And then totally fcuked it up..... then didn't get back, answer texts or calls, yup (not my car btw, Andrew has never mapped one for me and as above, wouldn't want him to either)
But do a search on here for Racerom and Carberry, the poor guy in the states was having a real good go at AC for stealing his rom and pushing it as his own.

No - he ****ed it but driving it with a problem ! When it was fixed who did he get to re map it ?????????? Andrew !

You need to give your head a wobble tony claiming a guy with a decay and induction should get 350 - know one makes claims like that

Tony with respect you seem awfully well informed about someone else's situation. I think your assertions may carry more credence if they were coming from the horse's mouth.
With regard to the Carberry issue, it wasn't stealing as that program was there for all to use. The original creator of the software just wanted recognition. He and Andrew Carr came to a mutually acceptable agreement. Your allegation of theft is not only untrue it's libellous.
