Default MAF Sensor Prices

Following my last thread, pre-empting the MAF needing doing, where is the best place for this?

I have looked at other threads which are a bit old now.

Subaru Dealership will only sell me the full kit at, wait for it...

£388!

If its a 99 u can just them new from import car parts for about £100 don't think u will find them cheaper new than that !

M99 STI Type-R - Has a V3 engine in but assumedly the MAF is still 99?

Yeah they do try the trick of selling you the whole air flow meter
Try Scott from Scoobyspares or As Performance.

If its a v5/6 maf u need u will only need the insert in which case as I said b4 about £100 ish but ... If ur fitting urself u will need the right key/tool to remove remove existing maf insert..

AS Performance have quoted £98.50inc del. Happy times!

I think this sounds like a job for the boys at RHMS then if you need a special tool. Thanks for the advice as I am impatient to say the least when it comes to these things!

U need a torx bit the ones with the whole in the middle u can get a set off eBay for a fiver and will take u 2 mins to to the job

I paid £124 from bulldog Subaru in twyford for the maf air sensor only
