Default acceleration stutter

Ok so wonder if anyone could shed some light as to what might be wrong, my impreza classic sport has started hesitating during acceleration occasionally, its only for a second but its quite annoying. Sparks are good and air filter is clean...
Thanks

Ok guys ive been looking around the engine bay for said maf sensor and i thought id found it, so got in touch with the local car parts supplier and they said they dont have a maf sensor listed for that car...rang a few others who have said the same....they have other sensors/meters but no maf. The impreza SPORT does have a maf right??

Just a thought but could it be your clutch starting to slip?

Only had the clutch done about 5 months ago, plus it does it even when out of gear. If i blip the throttle when out of gear there is a slight hesitation then it revs only like half a second or so but never used to.

i dont have a Sport but im pretty sure it will be on the pipe that comes from the air box! - will be like a little plug that goes into a pipe, undo the screws and the sensor will come out

Ok so the only two things i can see are not on the air intake pipe, but just after where the pipe connects to the top of the engine. There is one either side one is black. Still not sure this is it, have been trying tk find a digram of the engine bay on the internet but no luck...

Ok so ive found this this its for the 2.2l but looks exactly like mine. But the ones im talking about seem to be throttle position sensor and the intake manifold pressure sensor...
