Default Well the search is on

Since I sold my factory prodrive bug in February I keep looking around for a replacement but just general browsing.

But after doing a red letter day at the weekend and driving the lambo LP 640 and my daughter going out in the LP640 and also the lambo Balboni she has finaly talked me in to getting another Impreza

Should have made this decision while the weather was really good as I need to sell my hairdresser car 330 ci convertible auto to fund it

So I better get my **** in to gear get the BM sold and get something found

Was waiting for my insurance money coming throug but its taking forever , you would think that being hit head on by a dick thinking he was in a touring car would be straight forward but it hdppened in march and still nothing sorted other than me a few k out of pocket

I am also looking for a new car after selling my P1 back in April and running around in a diesel for the last few months. I don't think I will be getting back into a Impreza though as the Mrs feels I should try something new, so I am weighing up a Rs4 avant as I need the boot space for the dog

I do love the RS4's but why don't you consider the forester Sti, lots of boot space for the dog and you can get back to driving a Subaru again.

It's also the maintenance costs that are a bit off putting on the 4.2 B7 but I am swaying towards the Bi turbo B5 version as they are tuneable and seem to be a more raw type of drive out of the two.

How about one of the BP5 legacy's?

Torque GT have a couple in stock and there's always nice ones going through the auctions.

That looks lovely but there is no mention of pricing...... What sort of money do they command?

Too much at the moment....a 2003 'standard' twin turbo BP5 sells for about £7k, but a 2003 BH5 can probably be had for £4k.

I'd guess a 2006 'tuned by STi' model like the one in the link would cost about £13k or thereabouts.

I know the exchange rate isn't helping, but there's something else that holds up the BP5 prices, don't know if its desirability or rarity?

I had a BG5 - very practical quick car, and I'd love a BP5.
