Smile Thinking of joining the fold again

So I've been driving my diesel golf for a year now, great little car, I do love it, but I'm going back to my old job which means I'll be away 7 or 8 months a year. I doubt I'll drive more than 2000 miles max in a year so fuel costs hardly matter now.

I could probably sell the golf and get 10k easily. I'd like to think I could get a nice Hawkeye. I'll give it until New Year and see how I feel. I've done impulse buys before and regretted it.

Ive just swapped my diesel for a blobeye sti. In the same boat as you, hardly drive any miles as I work around the corner. So its a pure luxury. I am glad Ive bought it though!

if your looking at a hawk STI you really only want a forged engine if its a uk spec, me personally i wouldnt sell mine for that and a standard jdm 2l is even more it seems these days. Great cars though

I'll see what's about. I'd love a mint classic actually but I know most contain nasty rot problems these days.

A nice clean classic would make me smile when I return from work. What sort of job do you do if you dont mind asking. I would get a p1 or a white v4 type r.
