I echo those sentiments. I hope you find membership rewarding.

Btw with all those potential mods I'd also welcome you to the money pit.

Thank you for your reply,, I'm aware of money pits.. The gt 30r may only be a option if it comes through. Failing that il just use a vf35 or vf43? Il be aiming for 350 bhp..

Ha ha ha love it.... Unfortunately I'm a little more educated for that thread...
Although the car I have bought actually has a forge DV on it... And it will be getting removed this weekend when I fit my coilover and my fmic

Here's a thread that should prove helpful to you:

https://www.scoobynet.com/wales-26/9...f35-turbo.html

Just to warn you, opinion seems to be that a VF35 won't (quite) make 350.

Also, the GT30R is I believe rotated, so will need (expensive?) pipework mods. (Sorry if you know this, don't mean to sound as though I'm treating you as a novice).

Thanks for the link, I have spent hours reading about turbo choices for it.. The gt30r I am in talks with is my first choice but it all depends how much he wants for it...I fitted a turbonetics gt30r to my civic type r and I loved the way I spooled so early 2200rpm made a bar of boost at 3100rpm and held that up to 8750 rpm..

I am only after around 350 bhp in the wrx and now I may be looking into a tdo5 18g or 20g..

The car is pretty much ready for the power upgrades, it has a new exedy clutch, walbro fuel pump, pro drive coilovers, anti lift kit, white line drop links.
Wossenger forged rods, wiseco pistons, acl bearings. Arp stud kit, uprated oil pump, cosworth head gaskets. The weekend I will be fitting a fmic ..
I also have sti pink injectors waiting .. Is there anything else I may need? Like a 3 port boost solenoid ?

Trusty is right.

And at the end of the day you won't notice the difference between 320-ish and 350, unless you're a pro.

I always intended to upgrade mine immediately from 360 to 400+, and a wise one said 'why?'

He was right.

Enjoy it !

Plenty on here who will provide advice.

I was driving to work roughly 30 mph, slowed dow and went into 2nd gear accelerated away and I think it's stripped 2nd gear.. Still drives in other gears but not 2nd... The box is very noisy now... I'm gutted to be honest I have just booked it in for a vf35 and pinks to be fitted then mapped.. What is the best 5 speed to use ? I no the 6 speed is a lot better but I can't quite go that much at he minute
