Looks like early millage one is a tele marketing salesbtrying "sell" it for him maybe unknowingly. And trying to get a cut off the sale. K

They copied from where, the owner either bought from or has tried to sell it previously.

The parrots usually get put there, I've seen them on loads of imprezas in the same place. But I have just noticed the front number plates are slightly different, on car 2 the front plate has a black pin strip boarder around it and on car 1 it's not there.

According to autotrader, there's 20 miles difference between the "two" cars...

Looks a bit like a sales tactic to me to get visibility to those that only buy "Private".

Definitely the same car IMHO.

Isn't that technically false advertising??

Personally I think that the guy has tried to sell it privately. Then sold it on to a company. The company would have more than likely gave it a fresh MOT as a selling point and the milage may be rounded up to the nearest 1000. Stranger things have happened

Just hasn't removed his private ad yet.

Provably a sole trader bought it. The car is in a limbo state of 'in trade' , the trade seller probably has not registered the car and still has the private sellers v5 so the car can be flipped quickly for some profit... My guess.
