Default Wonder wheels hot wheels at tesco petrol stations

Just thought I would share that wonder wheels hot wheels which is at halfrauds for £9.99 a bottle is at tesco petrol stations as a discontinued line at just £1.73 it stinks but it's good stuff and has a bleeding effect on the wheel.
I cleared the shelf of all 18 of them at my local tesco ; - )

And price at halfrauds

Excellent for cleaning oil off the garage floor. Terrible on alloys.

Yup, I tried that **** years ago and woulden't go near it again. I ended up needing to refurb a brand new set of alloys through using that stuff.

Diluted soda crystals are much cheaper and very mild to the alloy!

Carpro iron x is the shiz for wheels!

Expensive and smells like rotten eggs, but it gets brake dust off with a bit of agitation. Can also be used on the car body to get surface contaminents off.

Apparently Wonder Wheels is a fairly strong acid cleaner that is not good to alloys and was a concrete cleaner originally. Plus Costco sell it in 5 litre cans for not very much.

Exactly, it didn't take long to eat through the laquer on my new wheels either. Even if it stays on your hands long enough you can feel it burn the skin, I woulden't go near that stuff with a barge pole TBH.

Think you are confusing this with one that contains acid,. This one is non acidic so just the same as iron x so it's safe to use.
I do professional detailing and know of the acidic versions and quite rightly would not touch them either with a barge pole nor use on a customers car for that matter.

No probs, thought it was the original wonder wheels. I woulden't recommend that stuff to anyone for cleaning their wheels.
