Default Im a Newby :) too buy or not to buy..... a uk turbo

Hello everyone just a quick hello my names tom and im thinking about changing my faith from old school ford too a Subaru impreza, got to admit im a little apprehensive as I do love my Capri she's a 2.8i pretty mint very fun to drive and easy to have fun in (especially wen wet) just a joy to drive. iv driven a few Scooby's in recent months and have been severely bitten by the Subaru bug lol I just hope if I can get a good insurance quote on a uk turbo and I decide too sell my Capri, and then buy one I don't regret it a couple months later :S be nice too hear why a Subaru is your car of choice and if any one been in this position
cheers tom

when i had my supra tt sky wanted 1700 cheapest i called a plan who where good at the time apart from the last car which they ripped me off with the interest rate . a plan done it for 1100 so a big difference , but i also told a plan my lowest qoute was 1200 when it was 1600 aslong as you dont go unrealistic they will try and beat it but always check how much you pay in the end aswell if you do monthly payments . as my last qoute with a plan was 950 ish but when i finished came out around 1250 and should of been around extra 100 150 max not 300. charged me loads of apr

I'd give Aviva a try on a UK car, was cheaper than the specialists.

actually the supra tt is not expensive to insure at 24 yo i paid 1150 that was with exess protection and 3years ncb

plus if its a good one will be very reliable and amazingly fast and as good if not better on fuel then the wrx/sti
also most will be automatic but is amazing auto box and works very well with the car.

if you dont mind the age of a car get a supra it will make you feel special and the turbo sound they make is pheraputic however you spell that word

Try Chris Knott. I have just gone back to them with my latest scoob. They stopped being able to price match/beat other companies but they have now started doing so again and come in at a good price to start with.
Worth a look

I use key worker insurance. I was planning on getting an import but some how ended up with a uk turbo. I have two years NCB as I wasn't allowed to take my NCB off my trade insurance cost my £899 fully comp with breakdown cover. If I swap to an import it will only go up £9 a month on my instalments
