Default Standard ARB with solid drop links (Whiteline) good idea ?

Hi all.
I've jus fitted a Whiteline front drop links to my Classic V2 Sti. Compared to OEM
drop links, new ones are shorter ! Is this right ?
Plus, are new drop links fitted correct ? (I mean right position )

Hi. Bolts are tightened with right torque (50Nm) and sits straight.
I was asking about ARB position. Is it right ?

As for cable tie on the steering rack, good point, I've never notice this :-) I'll put a proper clip on it.

sorry to tell you mate but you have fitted the wrong drop links to your car, the ones you have fitted are for a steel arms only, the ones you should have fitted are these,

or these if they were just tired http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/part...en=&searchKey=

Yep they are the wrong type mate, as already mentioned in the post above you need the adjustable type for Sti cars. I have a brand new set sitting in the garage that I will be selling off

all JDM classic had ali arms (apart from auto's/wagons), yours have simply been painted at some point..........

as above you have fitted the wrong type and would be better off with the OE style "wire" links

Hi Guys.
I'm confused now :-(
According to Scoobyparts website, drop links I've fitted are correct. This is what it says:
If you have a Classic shape Impreza with the factory fitted metal 'Lollipop' drop links or a P1 or V5/6 STi with alloy lower arms you will need to select KLC32.*

KLC32 is the set I have fitted !

Same drop links were fitted to my car.
Again, even Whiteline website says that KLC32 is the correct kit. "Replaces OE ball joint link & OE style bar only"

Hi Alyn.
Yes, spacers are fitted correctly according to fitting instructions that came in the pack.
I bought these long time ago with other suspension parts and finally found time to do some work on the car :-)
Super Pro ARB bushes, Super Pro steering rack bushes and Whiteline drop links fitted at once.
This is how they are fitted:

Handling seems to be more solid now and respond much quicker while turning especially on roundabouts :-). Other components been changed as well so hard to say if it's only due to drop links change especially that ARB bushes were in really BAD condition. They were literally "leaking" out from the brackets :-(
