Not heard anything bad, much of a muchness really, I had my old turbo 2000 done at Powerstation as they were closer and they have a better dyno in my opinion.

Have you thought about getting it road mapped? I can highly recommend Bob Rawle, he has mapped my type 20 twice now. I feel greater drive ability is reached when mapped on the road all over the range rather that just trying to achieve a BHP figure top end

Simon(jgm) is mobile but is often at surrey rolling road which would be an easy trip for you. Dynamix is mobile and Bob Rawle is based in Swindon

Prices are all pretty much alike IMO for ecutek, open source is a little cheaper but fundamentally your not paying for a licence so the price you pay would be near enough the same as an ecutek if you took away the licence fee, your in essence paying for a mappers time and knowledge, the extra cost that comes with the ecutek route is as said the licence fee which is what drives the price up over a os remap really

Does anyone know how I can get intouch with bob Rawle? Has anyone got an email address
For him? Can I also just ask, if I was to go to a mapper with a rolling road
I would see the difference made to my car on paper, so how does road mapping
Show what bhp your car will be running once mapped?
Or do u think that a road map is better ?

You can either use your bum-dyno or use EcuTeK's dyno app for a quick and dirty estimate. Or go on an average for your mods.........

Road / live maps are better because they're done on the road as opposed to a still garage. There are far more factors that affect how your car goes on the road i.e wind resistance, road surface, ascents / descents, temparature etc etc. A rolling road obviously doesn't have most of these 'real world' factors.

Most mappers will tweak on the road after dyno mapping
