it was a good video, be good to see how this improves
wouldn't suprise me at all. just like what happened a few years ago, a bloke designed an engine to run on tap water and it was powerful enough for a car, Toyota bought all the design and copyrighted it. it cost them £5,000,000. and yes, they shelved it too
if companies were more interested in the enviroment than profits, we could all have cars that are cheap to run

Wonder if he'd fit the system to my Impreza for "testing" purposes
Very interesting, replace the Impreza setup for that, along with an electric water pump, and hey presto no cam belt. Would need to be setup so that if there was a failure the valves stay allow the gasses to escape without the pistons smashing them to bits, then that way a LOT of engines could be saved.
Bet the tuners would love to have access to this, as well as their fuelling and ignition maps that they have now, I guess like a child in a chocolate factory!!

Fascinating technology, providing higher power, better economy, & less emissions!
Now how long before the EU introduces an 'Actuator Tax'? (& limits its application to only 2 cylinders, unless you're an MEP!)

you would have thought this would be snapped up by now, it should be alot cheaper to manufacture and all car makers are after more efficient engines. would be more reliable aswell - less moving parts.
do f1 cars use these, i know they use compressed air to shut the valves
