Default Alloy wheel nuts twisted

My lightweight wheel nuts are now twisted, need a new set any recommendations?

prefer blue and long type.

anyone tried these

Avoid the aluminum ones. Second ones look better as they're steel but just because they're in the UK now doesn't mean they weren't made in China also!

they are steel,and as said try and stay away from the aluminium ones

I've had D1 spec nuts snap on me on 2 different occasions!




Before anyone asks, yes they are genuine D1 spec

Stick with steel nuts mate.
Wheel security is too important to faff about with IMO.
Ally nuts might be fine on a show car, but for an everyday runner they're a ticking bomb. It might be a small risk, but who needs it?

A mate of mine runs a garage and about 3 months ago he collected a wrecked BMW (think it was a BMW) from the Preston area. The guy had bought some nice lightweight wheelnuts of Ebay from a reputable manufacturer and they had sheared whilst he was cornering..... wheel came off and the rest is history.

When the nuts were tested they were found to be copies made in China!!

That's the brave new world for you!

Rays are very good! stay away from the cheap stuff!

Where is the best place to source genuine lug nuts, I'm assuming ebay is not a good idea.
