Default apexi power fc

i bought a apexi ecu for my98 apparently best way to go for this year anyway it didnt come with a commander can i just buy any commander or does it have to suit my ecu. any help on this would be good thanks

I'm fairly certain you need a Hand Commander that is matched to your ECU.

I'm sure I have a list on my PC somewhere showing what goes with what. If I find it I'll post it here.

I believe there are 2 different commanders because the plugs are different. You don't need the commander but they are handy.

In this advert it show the Hand Commander needed. If you scroll down the list.

It seems to show you need Commander part number 415-A030.

I'm sure someone will be along to confirm it. What is the serial number on your Power FC?

Dont need the commander,

i have one on mine but when Rich (FB Tuning) mapped it he just plugged in his laptop. I think they are more for displaying read outs than adjustment.

Im sure somebody will come on and disagree though.

Thanks guys i decided to go with the apexi avcr unit for total boost control and im led to believe it has all the same readouts on there not sure if it has a knock sensor thats one thing i would like!
