How do u fix a rattling heatshield.
Can this be fixed under warranty?

You can have it replaced, welded or removed.

Your choice.

After fixing mine for the the third time, I had it removed. Enquire at your local dealer, takes minutes, literally!

It serves to produce an annoying rattle every couple of months so that you panic, wondering what the hell it is and fearing that your engine is seizing up

of the heatshield can u safely remove?
The top half or the bowl underneath or both?

To protect your exhaust from puddles! Think how easily your exhaust will shatter when cold water hits your hot exhaust. I would rather have mine welded several times than pay for new headers ta.

Just get it welded! Find out more info on the SIDC FAQ. It is a common problem.
