Nope, nothing worth doing. Its slow and without serious money and work it will always be slow.
Best thing is a unequal exhaust manifold and a decent system. Might free up a couple of ponies but will transform the sound.

Best thing that you can do is to upgrade the brakes and suspension so that you can utilise the performance that you have. I've been down the route of trying to get significant power increases out of NA engines (with VWs and Audis) and it's just not worth the grief.
Improve your handling, then the lack of power won't be so much of a disadvantage.

pretty sure the fitment is the same for alot of the parts so can transfer them over as well (check what can and can't go)

Sell it and buy a uk turbo, use the money you would have spent on mods on insurance, will be a lot cheaper.

This is the unmodified GX you are talking about in the insurance thread

https://www.scoobynet.com/insurance-...ance-joke.html

Looks significantly modified to me, you know you have to inform them about exterior modifications (i.e. spoilers, scoops, etc.) and wheels to as they don't look standard to me

I really hope the insurers know about the modifications.
If they don't, then good help any poor sod that is involved in an accident with you.
