Newbie saying hello
Howdy all!
Just thought I'd introduce myself.
The name is Paul and as of Saturday I will be breaking my Scooby cherry.
Picking up a W plate UK wagon in red.
Should be a bit of a change from the current 206hdi lol
I still own a e36 M3 evo (vanos problems - stored), had a few different cars in the past, highlights being (in my opinion) 106 GTI, Prelude VTEC JDM, mk2 Fiesta XR2 2.1turbo, 205 Mi16 - if you think some of those aren't highlights, you should hear about the other cars I've had
So, to keep it short, hi!

Welcome along mate. I had a UK prelude vtec and absolutely loved it! I also had 1.8 zetec xr2i and a couple of BMW's, so obviously have similar taste in motors. You will love scooby ownership.

Well I got her home today with no problems at all. Not even very thirsty but then I was doing 63mph most of the way (after I cross checked the speedo with the satnav, clocks said I was doing 70 )
Few niggly things that came up which I didn't realise on the test drive was the clock doesn't work. The paddle clutch is a PITA in town mind and it's funny how many people look when it's noisy!
Just a quick question though - will the CEL go out if there are no faults whatsoever or is it still worth doing the black plug thing and reading it?
Many thanks,
Paul.
