its a tough one as i would assume most who are after a 22b are after one in standard from, being that its modified albeit very well it may put a majority of potential buyers off. Think it will just take some time for the right buyer to come along
I have thought about this car a couple of times, even talking extensively about this car with another 22B owner at the 20th anniversary do in the hotel the night before. Although an amazing car, would I get more of a smile from this than my Hawk Spec C which is immaculate???
I wish I'd bought that one you had for sale at the beginning of the year, at the time funds couldn't quite stretch. I read earlier the seats aren't great if you're bigger than a 34"? How did that Matt Black RA sell after?

Yes anything bigger than a 34" and you got no chance!
My mate still has his type ra just spent a few k on it.
Thats a good price but far from standard which warrants more of a premium come sale time.
Yeah, low mileage unmodified cars are going for a lot. I was thinking of going and having a look at this one but the missus would *freak* if I bought another Scooby lol
It is true that import 22B prices vary around the £20-30K mark but I feel £22,000 for a tidy, HPi clear, non standard car, with £20,000 spent on upgrades and maintained to the highest industry standards by an ex-SWRT mechanic is what I would call a reasonably priced 22B in comparison to other 22B's with lots of owners, unknown backgrounds and history.
I would not be selling the car had we not been ripped off by a cowboy builder who has left myself, my wife and our 5 month old baby without a home.
Rich it looks a lovely car, the bloke I was talking too at the 20th anniversary couldn't praise yours highly enough. If I didn't have the Spec C then I probably would have seriously bought yours.
