Nice looking car mate how come you couldn't find an impreza though? For the money the Evo cost I'm sure you could of found a load of really nice ones and at this time of year at good prices too!

Engines arnt too bad. Just have to take care & not be greedy with the boost or they have tendency s to lift the cylinder head off.
Driveline wise. 5 speed far stronger than the 6 but the transfercase bearings are made of toffee they start to whine then eventually drop to bits.

on a side note the title was a little misleading was expecting to see a black mamba or summat
oh and have quite a few spares left over from owning ours if you ever get stuck too

Ran 1.9bar on my old 6 with the standard engine, was a good car and nippy enough at 400+ but just lacked involvement, everything felt too easy.
Power delivery felt way too linear aswell for my liking bit like a big n/a motor.
Very nice btw but I think you're either one or the other with these that's why I ended up selling and getting another classic
Always fancied an 8mr though
