Help with tyre choice please

Help with tyre choice please
Need some new boots on my Wagon. Presently running on Goodyear Eagle F1 ZR16 205/50 16, which are and have been fantastic, now it seems they don't make them anymore. ;-(
Has anyone got any views or experience of the EfficientGrip as a replacement, or views on what would be better.
I loved the look of the tread pattern on the F1's, not keen on that of the EfficientGrip.
I would much appreciate your help with this.

Mate, no offence but this is the third "what tyre" thread I've seen this week.
Please use the search before you post questions like this; this question is asked on an almost daily basis and if you want a good balanced view you're better off viewing the threads returned in the search - there are plenty of stickies on how to use it at the top of the forum.
Otherwise you'll just get one or two replies. HTH

I'd see if you can get the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's in that size? They're the sucsessor to your current tyre.
Personally i woulnd;t put anything other than a big brand tyre on my cars as i value my own safety too much to cut corners! Also i know all the north wales police will use on their cars is the goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's

I'm using the Falken 452s (16") on my Type R at the moment and I think they are quite a good tyre not as good as the F1s though especially when pushing them in them damper conditions.
May be worth looking at places like mytyres, blackcircles or camskill to see if they still have stock of F1s

Thanks for your input everyone.
I have gone with the Fk452's as I don't tend to drive much in excess of a ton anymore.
Have a great Christmas and thanks again for taking the trouble.
