2002 V7 Bug n/s door handle replacement
Found this thread using the search, just need to confirm if this is the same process for V7 2002 bug?
I plan to swap out the damaged handle with new item and also to swap over the lock barrel.
And a guide for the removal of the door card would be appreciated.

Yep, the cars are so close it will be virtually identical.
The lock barrel is held into the door by a sliding spring clip that engages in a pair of grooves in the lock body. You'll be able to see it when you have the doorcard etc off. Simply force the clip outwards, there is a lip on it to place a screwdriver etc in to aid you.
