Any meets in or close to Sheffield
Hi just wondered if there was any meets in or around Sheffield,,

it's the end of season meet, the UK scoobies and the midland scoobies will be there (MS are having a rolling road session)
there should be about 40 cars
rolling road starts at 9am, other people are getting there from 10, prob go on til about 2 or so

i will be early but every one else is going for 10ish i think as deano says !
We also have a meet on the last Sun of every month at the Lock Keepers @ worksop from 1pm. Cracking venue and you can even bring the kids ect as there's a large play area in and out !

Aww I work most Saturdays until 12 I'm only a 15 min drive, will there still be anyone there at about half 12-1 o'clock ish?? Or will I turn up and look a right idiot on my own lol.

Cheers boozydave, I tried ringing you and someone answered but I couldn't hear anything, I turned up anyway, some nice cars! You might have seen me I were with my mate looking like beggars in our work gear lol.

ah, i answered an 'unknown caller' call, but couldn't hear anything
i might have been talking to you, mine was the black blobeye having the geomety set up done
it was a good meet, nice to catch up with people and meet some new faces too
wrote my car off on the way home though, went round a corner and slid on some mud, hit a concrete block and lamp post

Hi,
great day, marred only by the news of Daves accident on his way home, glad he wasn’t injured.
A few disappointed faces regarding dyno figures but it just goes to show how figures can change day to day, look at my personal car lost 20 odd BHP according to the dyno, yet check out the snap files and Friday when the new SC50 was mapped the dyno added a small percentage due to atmospherics then Saturday removed 3%, in fact the dyno removed 3% from everyone’s figures.
Look forward to another one when the weathers a bit better, any ideas for a bit of an open day, bouncy castles and stuff for charity, get em up on a new thread.
Thanks to every one who turned up and made the day what it was.

Oh dave how u manage that lol, is the car a write off then
Them small roads on way are a danger!
And as for the dyno I didn't even bother, iv only got a 2l sport non turbo... So didn't fancy gettin laughed at! I'm only 20 and getting insured on anything else is a no go at the minute lol. It was a good day though, first one for me and loved it, saw some mean machines
very tidy cars.
