Valuation Help
Hi Guys,
I'd appreciate your opinions on a valuation of a car I've seen for sale (trade). The market seems to be all over the place at the moment so it's hard to gauge what is and isnt a reasonable price. Glasses guide is telling me £6K - which I feel is not remotely accurate. The price range I'm seeing at the moment for 2005 DCCD models is £7000-£9500.
To save influencing you all, I'll come back after a few replies and tell you the price the garage is asking...
2005 Subaru Impreza STI. Black. 58,000 miles. Full Subaru history. Belts changed recently. Good tyres all round. Mods include gloss black FF7 alloys, angel LED headlight upgrade, "upgraded" exhaust and remapped to 320BHP.
Suggestions on a reasonable price I should pay? Person closest to the trade price wins a cookie

It sounds a very desirable car. However it is a car that will be very expensive to insure and fuel. It is the worst time of year to sell a car too.
A car or whatever is worth what someone is willing to pay.
If i was looking for one I would be patient and you will easy get one for 7k if not 6k, when people who are selling are struggling.
As for what dealer is asking would not surprise me if he was trying his luck at 10k lol

£8000 is do-able if its a total minter but anymore than that then forget it. It's a buyers maker, there's lots to choose from. Take your time, do some research and find a car that is perfect for you at a reasonable price, they are out there you've just gotta find it.
Good luck chap
