MBS salvage repair services what a joke
They had a pair of seats for sale rang for there beat price they said £100 which was fair as there in decent condition.
They wanted £50 for postage which I said no chance as I can get them collected for £28 from a currier I use regularly .
They said they won't wrap them ( so by this point I can see how this conversations going)
So I ask so I was to pay your £50 were you not guna wrap them they said yes.
So I asked why can't you wrap them and I will arrange my own currier it really is t difficult!!!
They would have to charge me £30 for wrapping
£30 fukin quid for some shrink wrap they said yeah it's time aswell ???? Even tho they said they have a machine that wraps things for them
So £20 for the. To post and £30 to wrap
So basically your spanking people on postage by adding an extra £20/30 on the price so seats arnt really £100 there £130
It's a **** take why can't these companies just be genuine instead of trying to screw people over
If there prepared to do that what else are they doing
My thoughts avoid
All in all quite rude couldn't answer a question straight and helpful???? Haha no chance

I wouldn't bubble wrap two seats for £30 ...... hell, I wouldn't even pull my socks on!!
If they said the seats were £130 + £20 Courier, you would I assume have been perfectly happy?
I do agree, however, that companies are getting more devious these days.

I could kind of undastand if they were doing it by hand but 1. It was just cling film and secondly they've go a machine to do it.
No bubble wrap being used that I could kind of understand ish but come on £30 just to wrap seats in cling film???
If the economic climate is that pushed youde think they'd want a sale?
I would of bought the seats but £50 to post is wayyy ott when there are plenty of companies that can deliver/collect for half that
£10 for wrapping yeah but £30?? That's ripping people off ecspecially for cling film

To wrap 2 seats in cling would take less than 3 mins, but I `m not sure it would offer much protection. Like other threads on here where a business fails to come up to a client`s expectations, it`s a tough time economically, and the OP can exercise his right to go elsewhere; likewise, if that breaker had 10 people a day asking to cling wrap, they`ve got to cover it. Their job is to break and sell, so wrapping is an extra.

well £50 is quite reasonable, it costs us £45-55 +vat for the pallet to be collected and delivered and then there is the bubble wrap and pallet wrap on top of that which isn't cheap, we would never just pallet wrap a set of seats as if they are ripped/torn or the mounting points bent as we all know some couriers can be a bit heavy handed then they will have to be returned or discounted which make the sale not worth while. £30 to just pallet wrap a set of seats is a bit harsh though £20 bubble wrapped and pallet wrapped is what we charge
