A lot of it comes down to the driver. In my sons standard WRX RA I have ran a 13.0, his best time 13.3s in the same car. Only difference being I have a lot more experience at drag racing and can get a better launch coupled with quicker flat shifts.

Id say that its average to slow, which is doubtless down to the drivers technique. Id expect my old 944 Turbo to be around 14.6-14.8 seconds and Id expect a 2000 Turbo to be faster from a standing start.

Santa pod times are not an exact science, just because one persons standard bug was quicker than someone else modified classic means nothing. There are so many factors to consider, track condition, driver experience, air temp, tyres etc etc etc.
for instance, I'm running over 400bhp in a stripped out classic but could only manage a 12.7 at the weekend. I would hazard a guess and say that on a better day and in the hands of someone who can actually drive the car could manage a very high 11.
It's all a bit of fun, but don't take your times to seriously just as you shouldn't take dyno bhp figures too seriously either.

ultimately it is down to technique/skill a lot more than people give it credit for
launch, speed and quality of gearchanges, etc. all play a part and can easily make the difference between a 14/15 sec run and the possibility of getting a 13sec run (which is potentially what the std car will ultimately do)
dont worry about others simply enjoy yourself and try and improve your technique
