Default really is this the reson you would buy a Subaru

The main reason i brought this car was how good it was underneath and its only been in the uk 2 years! so no salt damage.

At a guess he's saying that he wanted an Impreza but it's hard to find a classic that's not a rust bucket now so he went for this particular one as it was clean underneath compared to most.

Hmm, great reply...

should i make the effort to go from London to up north to view the car - or you think it will be a waste of time...

the early classics tend to rust on the arches if they are not kept clean. when mine came into the uk it was 14 years old and it was VERY clean underneath. Its now had 4 years in the UK and there is some rust underneath but ive kept the arches clean and they are rust free.

It's legit. I know that owner. And it's hardly "up norf". Anything north of watford is north to you londoners lol

It's Midlands, West Midlands at that. J15 or 16 off the M6 will get you to the car within 2 minutes.

He's had Evo's and Scooby's (and Escort RST's back in the day) and he loves his turbo cars. He general buys them, spends a fortune on them and gets them how he wants them, then gets bored and will sell it and buy the Nemesis and do it all again.

By that I mean he's had an evo, then scooby, then evo, then scooby, then evo - and you get the drift.

He wanted a classic, but one that's not only not rusty, but one that's not ever had rust. He's clued up on these and has had a couple of quick cars only to be let down by needing arches and sills doing or whatever. So he looked for a car with a mint shell this time.

He's not had it ages but has already spent loads on it as you can see.

He's genuine though.

And I'd consider checking under a classic before buying it to be honest as there's not many that are well kept these days which is a shame.

Just to clear it up Sam I believe I have messaged you via eBay and phone but had no reply?
As mentioned above I did want a good shell as most have been in the uk a long time and have a lot of salt corrosion that Results in rusty arch's, filler necks rotting etc this has none of that hence the expression I used..
If I want literary lessons I will come to you martyn
Sam if you want any pictures of anything feel free get in touch I will send them the car is what it is and described right.
I will be putting better pictures up as its not the best light when I took them
