Hi All,

My bug WRX has a standard TD04 turbo and ecutek remap. As per other posts I think the turbo is on its way out (110k on the clock now) and have been looking around for a second hand turbo from a lower mileage WRX.

If I find one and get it fitted do I need a remap again?

If I do, I might as well just change the turbo, injectors etc and upgrade!

Simon - do the 2.5 TD04's have a weaker WG spring on them? If he was to get one of them it would have issues reaching target boost?

Not measured them tbh. Have a mitivac and will measure next time I see one of each

Just worth op getting it checked once turbo is swapped
